Join the Movement for Women’s Health and Ignite Our Power

For over two decades, menopause has been one of the most underrecognized women’s health crises in America. More than 53 million women in the United States are in menopause today, with another 1.3 million entering each year — yet there is no national policy, no coordinated care plan, and no dedicated federal funding to address this vital stage of women’s health.

The result is a nationwide public health failure that impacts every aspect of society — from women’s long-term health to our economy and workforce. Untreated or mismanaged menopause symptoms lead to increased risk of heart disease, osteoporosis, depression, and cognitive decline, as well as lost productivity and early retirement. Studies estimate this neglect costs the U.S. economy more than $355 billion every year.

Despite the magnitude of this crisis, menopause remains absent from most federal research priorities, excluded from medical training, and ignored by insurance standards. This lack of infrastructure leaves millions of women suffering in silence — without access to the evidence-based care, education, or support they deserve.

It’s time for national leadership and accountability.

We’re calling on Congress and the President to:

  • Declare menopause a Public Health Emergency under the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)

  • Allocate a minimum of $1 billion to create a National Menopause and Women’s Health Infrastructure Program

  • Fund menopause research, medical education, and equitable access to care across all communities

  • Launch a nationwide awareness campaign to destigmatize menopause and empower women with accurate information

This is not just a women’s issue — it’s a public health, economic, and social equity issue that affects families, workplaces, and communities across the nation.

The Menopause Bill of Rights

AMENDMENT I — Right to Health: You shall not be dismissed, gaslit, or told your suffering is “normal.” You have the right to comprehensive medical care — period.

AMENDMENT II — Right to Truth: You have the right to accurate, evidence-based information — free from propaganda, predatory marketing, and profit-driven fear.

AMENDMENT III — Right to Research: You have the right to federally funded menopause research proportional to its impact. No more scraps. No more silence. Fifty-three million women demand it.

AMENDMENT IV — Right to Trained Providers: Your doctor shall not graduate on ignorance. Medical schools must teach menopause care — or answer to every woman they failed.

AMENDMENT V — Right to Treatment: You have the right to access all evidence-based therapies — hormonal, non-hormonal, holistic — without gatekeeping or judgment.

AMENDMENT VI — Right to Individualized Care: One size fits none. You have the right to protocols built for your biology, history, and goals — not cookie-cutter algorithms that erase who you are.

AMENDMENT VII — Right to Protection: You have the right to FDA oversight that shields you from the $20 billion unregulated “wellness” market exploiting your desperation.

AMENDMENT VIII — Right to Informed Consent: You have the right to understand risks, benefits, and alternatives for every treatment — and to decide freely for yourself.

AMENDMENT IX — Right to Dignity: You have the right to respect, compassion, and validation — not shame, stigma, or silence. Your pain matters. Your voice counts.

AMENDMENT X — Right to Revolution: When a system fails 53 million women, you have both the right and the duty to demand change, organize power, and tear down every barrier that keeps you invisible.
